Rider Demographics: Whistler is a pedestrian only village making transit the best option to get to the Village, ski hills, and residential areas. Whistler is a seasonal market:

November – April: 75% resort visitor 25% local

May – October: 50% resort visitor 50% local

Summer season July August has now surpassed winter visitor numbers. The village is packed with outdoor enthusiasts'. Mountain biking is huge and riders can put their bikes on the buses. There are many events and concerts over summer, and the mountain bike festival Crankworx is a highlight.. There is free transit over the weekends which allows everyone to ride the bus for free.

All design and production costs are the responsibility of the advertiser. If you choose to use your own production company, we ask that you use the following specifications when having your ads produced.

Alternatively, ASCENT MARKETING would be happy to submit your production order, follow-up and install. Rates will be quoted on a per job basis.

Interior Transit Cards
Located in frames above the windows in the transit vehicles they are printed on vinyl then mounted and laminated on polystyrene for wear and durability or a card stock material. Standard cards are 11” x 18” full bleed with a 1/2” boarder and visual opening of 10” x 17”. Text should be within the visual opening to avoid being cut off when placed in the frame. (one ad per bus 29 buses total, 32 client ads per bus.)

Price: $300 a month based on a one month contract

$200 a month based on six month or one year contract

Estimated printing of all ads (29 total) = $175

Ceilings ads: 1m x1.5m portrait. Please call for design, proof and sizing information.(One ad per bus 29 total buses, 3 client ads only per bus.)

$400 a month based on 1 year contract.

Estimated printing cost per ad = $50 per ad.

We highly recommend using the UPS store on Main Street for all design and printing needs. The client may choose their own design and printer based on preferences.

All clients are provided a legal contract, monthly invoices and billing. Ascent Marketing does accept credit card payments. In addition, you will receive monthly news updates, with ad inspections and photos of the ad on the buses.

Ascent Marketing does weekly ad inspections and if there is a missing or damaged ad we work fast to replace the ad.
